Mark was appointed as the Executive Director of the Mercer County  Assistance Office on November 21, 1998. He earned a BS degree  in Education from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania in 1974. In  his 25 year career with the Pennsylvania Department of Public  Welfare Mr. Wasser has direct experience in nearly every county  assistance office work assignment and has participated in a  number of statewide initiatives with the Department of Public  Welfare. In Mercer county Mr. Wasser has been involved in  workforce development since 1996; first serving on the Private  Industry Council until May 1999. After May 1999 Mr. Wasser was  appointed to serve on the Workforce Investment Board where he  continues to serve.
