Sam Bellich

 Sam is currently serving as Deputy Director of the Mercer County  Area Agency on Aging having joined the organization in 1978. Sam  worked his way through the organization to reach his current  position. He serves on several agency boards in the area of health  care and human services. As a former educator he specialized in  assessment, care planning, elder abuse prevention and  intervention, and long term care administration. Sam has been a  trainer for PA Dept. of Aging, PA Dept. of Public Welfare, Temple  University School of Medicine, Older Adult Protective Service  Institute, PA Association of Area Agencies on Aging, and Slippery  Rock University. Sam has also served as a criminal investigator,  mental health therapist, elementary school guidance counselor, and  medical social worker in a Hospice program. He graduated from  Slippery Rock University with a Bachelor Degree in Government  and Legal Administration and a Master Degree in Counseling  Psychology.
